Excellent deodorant

This product holds up well and I didn't have an issues with body odor over long days. I have sensitive arm pits and had no issues with this product now 2 weeks in. The scent is more brown sugar than the body cream or mist, but it layers well.

Works great

I have bought this deodorant multiple times. The formula is really great and I love that is aluminum free. Its effectiveness is comparable to the other top common aluminum free deodorants on the market. But it smells better.

I’ve recently switched from anti-perspirants to deodorants, and the SDJ branded one was the first one I’ve tried. First impressions are is the texture is not what I am used to-but I’ve gotten used to it after several weeks of using it. The scent is the Cheirosa 59, my current favorite scent that Sol de Janeiro makes and also my favorite one in the winter months. It is great for layering my other Cheirosa 59 products with, or other vanilla adjacent fragrances. It is a deodorant rather than an anti-perspirant, so aluminum free and does not have the same all day wear that other products have. A reapplication in the middle of the day may be necessary-however I do not mind as it does function as I need it to function and it is free of certain chemicals I am phasing out in my cosmetic product use. I also love that it is refillable-I have already purchased several refills in this scent and in other SDJ scents I like. I will continue to use this product for the foreseeable future. Try it out if you’re curious, I was pleasantly surprised!

This is my favorite of the deodorant varieties so far! Not only does it smell like a decadent dessert, Ty 59, but it does the job just using it once a day. :)

Rio Deo Aluminum-Free Deodorant – Cheirosa 59

I don’t say this lightly… this deodorant completely changed my expectations for aluminum-free options. Rio Deo in Cheirosa 59 is hands down one of the best deodorants I’ve ever used—natural or not. First, let’s talk performance, because that’s usually where aluminum-free deodorants fall short. This one actually works. It keeps odor under control all day without needing constant reapplication. Even on busy, warm days, I stayed fresh without that “natural deodorant panic” we’ve all experienced. No irritation, no weird transition period—just smooth, reliable protection. The texture is another win. It glides on effortlessly, feels silky (not sticky or waxy), and absorbs quickly without leaving residue on my skin or clothes. My underarms feel moisturized and comfortable, not dry or tight, which is such a bonus. Now the scent—Cheirosa 59 is absolute perfection. It’s warm, cozy, and slightly sweet with notes of vanilla orchid, sugared violet, and soft sandalwood. It smells elevated and comforting, not overpowering, and layers beautifully with perfume or stands on its own. Every time I move, I catch the most subtle, delicious hint of it and it makes me smile. What really seals the deal is how skin-loving it feels. My underarms look smoother and healthier, with no irritation or sensitivity—something I truly appreciate. It feels like skincare and deodorant in one. Bottom line: if you’ve been hesitant about aluminum-free deodorant because you’re worried it won’t work, this is the one to try. Luxurious, effective, gentle, and smells incredible. Five stars, no hesitation—I’ll absolutely be repurchasing.

My favorite deodorant. It's not greasy glides on easy, keeps you smelling great all day. Perfect to pair with the cheirosa 59 lotion and body spray

Easy to use and goes on easy. Smell its a little different then the body smell but overall not bad.
