Nothing Compares...

Honestly, I’m not a big fan of lotions due to the fact most make me feel greasy and body butters are far more than my skin needs. However, I am now a religious user of this stuff. I originally bought it as a gift for my mom, but I wasn’t able to part with it. I fell in love with the elegant, fresh and clean smell which isn’t the least bit overpowering. I use it immediately after getting out of the shower so a little goes a long way and it makes it easier to apply. My skin is softer than a baby’s bottom and it leaves a light floral/baby powder scent that lasts on me all day. I also love the fact that it’s made in France, since Europe bans over 1,300 chemicals approved for cosmetics in the US. If Sephora has a sale on this, grab at least two or you’ll be sorry. Even at regular price, it’s a very large jar, a phenomenal product and worth every penny.

Please Bring Back the Large Original!

I like this one, but I REALLY REALLY miss the original that came in the larger tub! It was FANTASTIC and even the higher end brands couldn’t compete! My skin loved it so much! Please bring back the original, Sephora!

Great product but once upon a time...

Love this product. But what i really miss....is the ORIGINAL line of Sephora Body Butters! They were A-maz-ing and honestly better than competitor brands. *sigh* :)

MY HOLY GRAIL

I know everyone has a right to their opinion and to each there own but come on 25 people that have this one star !! Oh wait that’s not bad because it means there will be more for me!!! I absolutely can not live without this! I’ve been using it for over 10 yrs. It’s the best for dry dry skin it absorbs quickly it smells delicious and it’s reasonably priced!! I have used every skin cream under the sun and nothing and I mean nothing beats this I actually cried when I saw it was back in stock!!

If this butter is being pushed aside by the butters with the pink lid, it is a sad day indeed. Hello 2020 once again. The Butter: so deliciously creamy, so densely whipped, sinks, no, melts effortlessly, like a dream into your skin. The scent: ladies, those of you who know, KNOW, the holy grail of all body butter scents! Floral, but not too cloying-- tuberose, bergamot, flowers of the flesh, not roses, not sweet, a hint of the masculine, but not too, fresh, clean, a little dry down to pale musk divineness. I have a small precious amount, depotted in a glass jar and one sealed large tub that awaits to be opened~~ that I know I must open, you can't keep Pandora's box sealed for eternity! Treat this review like a petition ladies and gents in the know~~ give it a like and let Sephora know: We want out super supreme body butter back! And if all good things must come to an end, stop the tease and ghost us already Sephora, ghost us! Too over the top? Meh, like I said, those who know, KNOW!

Smooth and hydrating

This body butter is thick and super hydrating. It goes on smooth and absorbs easily, leaving skin feeling soft and not greasy. I'm not a fan of the scent which smells a bit like cologne to me, but it's not overpowering so I can look past it. Overall this is a great body butter at a great price.

I bought this body butter based on reviews and have no regrets, except that I didn't buy more than one. It is always on backorder! Sinks into my skin and never feels greasy. Light, subtle fragrance.

I love a thick and rich body cream. The texture is exactly what I was looking for. I didn’t realize that it’s unscented. I do prefer a bit of scent.
