it made my skin look very glowy but just a few seconds after applying it it started burning my whole face really bad, it has a really strong smell of citrus as well that's a little bit overwhelming. And my Yuka says it's a 0 out of 100 because it contains BHT which can affect fertility etc and considering the price too, I would definitely not repurchase, nor recommend it.

Brightens and evens skin tone

This product is awesome. It evens out your skin tone and brightens. I have a little melasma on my tummy and it helped it fade. I mostly use it on my face and neck. I have been using it for years now and will not use anything else. I highly recommend for light skinned girls that want a bright, hydrated and even glow.

The literal best dang serum ever! Most serums I have tried don’t really work but let me tell you this was my actual favorite serum ever!! It’s so amazing and you really can see results after only one use! I definitely recommend it ly 1 use

Sensitive skin, think again!

let me first of by saying I have super sensitive skin. I sadly had an immediate reaction to this product. I must have gotten a slight bit on my lip area, and it caused that spot to swell up and become red. shortly following that the rest of my face and neck started tingling (not in a good way) and burning. I washed my face and thankfully nothing like chemical burn or any major red spots! I did take it off within 10 minutes of applying maybe that saved me!

Not worth it.

This was unfortunately a dud for me. No difference in my pores and did not improve my uneven skin texture. There wasn’t much brightening either. However, it did do well under sunscreen and make up.

Big disappointment.

I wanted to try something new to see if there is something better than what I already use. Origin was my go to brand for a lot of skin care items since early 2000s. I don't know what has happened, but a lot of the great products were either discontinued or changed in formula. Some of the newer products just don't deliver, like this one. I found it neither brightening nor retexturing/smoothing. In fact, I found it leaving my skin dehydrated and blotchy. I also found it difficult to apply as it has a sticky texture. I normally try to not leave 1-star/2-star reviews. I try to find a least one really good redeeming quality so I can give it three stars, but there is nothing in this product to find positive. I am not giving it one star because I am in a good mood, and I don't think it didn't outright damage my skin (it's recoverable with my previous product). I waited till I finished the product before leaving this review because it takes a few months before one starts to see results from a skin care product, but I am bummed this is not a verified-purchase review. However, I am so glad this is finished. I don't plan on repurchasing.

This serum causes my makeup to pill, I can’t use cream or liquid blush when using this. It has a strong scent that reminds me of oranges mixed with hot glue.

Works great for me!

Got this in a gift set. I have hormonal cystic acne on my chin/jaw that continues to leave me with purple and pitting scars 🥲 I only use one pump at night and skip a day or two a week else it will dry out my skin. I have combo skin with a super oily tzone and use the green cetaphil moisturizer. It’s done my skin so well after 3 months, scars are lightening and my skin is more even overall with pores and scarring. Also follow the instructions, please use sunscreen!!! Do not make my mistake, it literally looked like I was bruising 😭 I should’ve listened, vitamin C and all lol. But with sunscreen my skin has never looked better :) This might just be my guilty skincare purchase from now on.

Great overall

Love it, I’ve been using it with the oil free moisturiser and I’ve only seen positive affects on my skin. Perhaps, I got it as a gift and will not repurchase it because of the price. Great product!
