I was really excited to try this. Overall very disappointed, this does be nothing for my hair. I used this after washing my hair, before styling. First of all, the dropper is horrible, you have to squeeze several times to get anything. The serum it self actually does nothing for my hair.

Lovely scent, light and effective

The oil smells lovely, it's nice and light, and doesnt weigh down my curls. It helps keep the frizz away but without ruining the curl pattern

Real review from a beauty-obsessed college student (not sponsored, not gifted, no incentives — just keeping it real) I’m a huge fan of Gisou as a brand and have tried pretty much their entire hair care line. I have naturally curly hair, but I straighten it daily, so it’s definitely dealing with some heat damage and dryness, especially at the ends. That said, I’ve been using the Honey Repair Serum consistently (I’m halfway through the bottle), along with their shampoo, conditioner, mask, oils, and sprays and honestly, I haven’t noticed a real difference. My hair looks and feels the same with or without it. The scent is lovely, like all Gisou products — but for me, the results just weren’t there. If you’re on a budget, I’d recommend skipping this one and going for their Hair Oil or Hair Mask, which I actually do love and have seen results from. If you’re curious, nothing bad happened to my hair, so by all means try it if you want — just know that if you’re looking for heat protection, you’ll need a lot of product (especially if you have long hair), and there are better options out there for that specific purpose.

Have repurchased several times

My hair is the longest and healthiest it’s ever been and I think it’s mostly due to this product. I have fine hair and this product is weightless but seems to protect against heat styling damage.

Don’t waste your money!

The worst serum ever! This felt like water and just disappeared when I put it into my hair. It didn’t spread at all. My hair always felt like straw after I blow dried it. Not good for a premium product!

I actually LOVE this serum, especially when I use it with their new gisou hair mask that came out a bit ago!!! I actually don't see most of my split ends as I used too!! it makes my hair incredibly soft and honesty it's so worth it if you have dry ends like me :)

a staple for my thick and damaged hair!

After using this product and reading reviews, I can definitely say that it's made for thicker hair types. For clarification, I have very thick curly (3A) hair that's been dyed numerous times and has heat damage. This product seems to be made for people with my hair type in mind, thick and damaged. if you're looking for a hair oil that will add a lot of moisture but in a non greasy way, this is the route. I can see how this would be heavy on more thin hair types. I use this hair oil and their hair oil for dry hair together and it's a perfect duo for me. a little goes a long way and it can be hard to know how much is too much when applying on wet hair. If you have thin damaged hair, I'd recommend playing with this hair oil to find the perfect amount that's not too heavy for you! I think this product can be wonderful for everyone if used correctly :)

Great for low porosity hair!

I got this as a sample and this was great for my low porosity hair! I will be ordering the full size!
