A Warm Weather Grapefruit Banger and a Classic The

This new release surprised me. I never thought I would be smelling grapefruit notes in the same realm as Sospiro’s Vibrato, Bvlgari’s Le Gemme Tygar, Louis Vuitton L’immensité, or even Bleu de Chanel EdP/Edt. The top notes were immaculate. I could not believe The One could deliver a scent of that caliber. The citrus top was top tier but also short lived since citruses are effervescent. Within 2 hours it was gone, and the signature The One profile smelled in the original EDT/EDP of tobacco, amber, and cedar wood began to play in for the next 6 hours. This definitely a warmer weather occasion or day time fragrance. Summer time would be best suited for the citrus notes and the lighter dry down. I would even go as far as to say that if you have a special event like a suit and tie, then this would be the fragrance to apply. The longevity is 8 hours and sillage is OK. The cost is justified and it is suitable for any warm weather or day time occasion. Overall, this One fragrance takes all the classic parts of The One and gives it a fresh citrus introduction that will thrill your senses.

This scent was more on the sweet orange side with a hint of a woodsy tobacco. A good mix between a perfume and a cologne. I would wear this scent to a nice dinner or in office (work). It’s not over powering but lasts throughout the day. A memorable, complex smell that allows you to enjoy the layers of essence without giving you a headache.

I tried a sample of the Dice & Gabbana The One Cologne and it has the perfect scent. It's not too overwhelming but at the same time it's not weak at all. It hits you randomly throughout the day and reminds you that you smell great. Plan to be complimented on your scent throughout the day.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The older formulation is my favorite fragrance ever created. I've purchased two bottles of the original. The only con was the abysmal longevity. This new 2025 EDP smells VERY close to the original, but has monster performance. It has great longevity and projection. This will very likely be my new favorite. Dolce & Gabbana listened to their customers, and we love it!

This Dolce and Gabbana The One for Men eau de Parfum is an upscale and elegant scent. I like the spice notes and warm vanilla notes. There are also notes of cedarwood and amber. The main notes I have picked up on are the orange, sage, and tobacco. All the notes and scents go so well together. The scent tends to stay with me through a long work day and has a nice longevity to the day.
