Signature Lip Liner - Duhová tužka na rty

I got a new shade called Cassis! I am not really a lip-liner person; I just never really bothered with it, and didn't see a need for it, but I love merit products so I decided to try it! I really love it. It is smooth, works really nicely with my other shades of lipstick/gloss, and its super long-lasting but not drying!

This lip liner is so easy to apply, it glides in smoothly and pairs perfectly with Merits Lip Blush. It lasts all day and is a great color - reviewing the shade Rose.

NOTE: this review is for liner shade ROSE, which is an addition coming to the current line. Look, here's the thing. I've never been about that Lip Liner Life. I've lived through the 90s. Ot was it the 2000s? Either way, it wasn't my thing. MERIT signature liners are different. This is a shade slightly deeper than my natural lip color; a neutral pink with a hint of brown. It glides on so easily. I find I don't want to line my entire mouth, but when I apply this strategically, this works some kind of magic. My think lips look fuller, but I don't look overly...well, you get it. It also works all over the lips as a beautiful, sheer, creamy lip color. I'm pleasantly surprised by this. Maybe I can be about that Lip Liner Life after all.

Smoothest lipliner ever

This lipliner is truly amazing. It goes on extremely smoothly and can be easily blended in and layered with other lip products. I love the packaging and the fact that you don't need to sharpen it because you just twist up the bottom! I've never used a lipliner that goes on as smooth as this one. I ordered the lipliner in Bespoke, and it was the perfect pink-brown shade for my fair skin.

An absolute buy

Refined and Easy

This is the only lipliner I want to wear right now. The glossy finish is moisturizing and comfortable to wear. The deeper tones have staying power, which is nice. Perfect for busy days.

Merit’s signature lip liner glides on so easily, unlike any other lip liner I’ve used. So glad Merit decided to expand with more colors. Rose is the perfect color without being too much.

Cassis - Perfection!

Merit was kind enough to allow me to test a new shade - Cassis - in exchange for my honest review. This color and formula is simply perfection. I am now 46 years old and despite my love of makeup, i have come to the conclusion that at this point in my life, i look my best with significantly less on. With that in mind i have gifted virtually all makeup other than my Merit products to friends. The brand gives me a fresh, glowy look that is incredibly natural and quick to apply. With that said, i felt that what was missing was a liner with a red tone that was wearable daily. This is IT. It pairs perfectly with Kitten Heel Lip Blush, but it also wears beautifully on its own. It has a subtle sheen that separates it from other liners and makes it more forgiving and natural in appearance. This is a shade that can be worn daily, despite being red. I absolutely love it.

such a good lip liner for everyday wear

A very creamy lip liner that doesn't tug at the lips. It does come off pretty easily but I like how comfortable it is, plus the twist up is SO CONVENIENT. The color is also beautiful -- no one does neutrals like Merit
