I received this product in exchange for my honest review. This perfume has a lovely gourmand scent that reminds me of vanilla pastries dusted with powdered sugar. It’s great to wear year-round, except during the hot summer months, and it lasts at least five hours on the skin and over eight hours on clothing. I really enjoyed this vanilla fragrance because it’s not too heavy—warm and slightly powdery without being overly sweet or artificial. It didn’t overwhelm my senses or tire out my nose. The travel spray also distributes the perfume evenly on the skin. Overall, this is a cozy, pastry-like scent with impressive longevity, perfect for almost any occasion.

I am obsessed with this perfume! seriously, it now comes with me to work and then i use it for after work events and dinners. Maison Margiela’s Afternoon Delight lives up to its evocative name with a scent that feels both intimate and quietly indulgent. From the first spray, it invites you into a warm, sun-drenched moment—perhaps an elegant garden gathering or a private rendezvous in the late afternoon light. There’s a velvety sweetness here, like ripe fig or peach, grounded by subtle spice and a whisper of something woody or earthy—possibly sandalwood—that gives it depth and sensuality. As it dries down, the composition becomes even smoother, with a gentle musk that lingers closely to the skin. What stands out most about Afternoon Delight is its balance. It’s luxurious without being loud, romantic without being overly sweet, and effortlessly sophisticated. Didn't Know I Could Love a Perfume So Much

This perfume is to die for. I have been trying to figure out a more "signature scent" for myself and this is going into my rotation! The packaging is really cute and the perfect size. The nozzle is also well made and I don't have to worry about any liquid spilling out. I sprayed it on my wrists and neck and it lasted until the evening! A hard quality to find, especially in a more affordable perfume. My favorite part of the perfume is the cozy vanilla scent that continues to linger through the day. It is hard tor me to find a vanilla perfume that I love but this Madagascar vanilla makes all the difference, leaving a very rich vanilla scent. It is slightly more "earthy" due to the sandalwood and gourmand, which is actually what I prefer. I will need to get bottle after bottle of this

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I am not usually a vanilla girl. Vanilla scent usually give me a headache and just smell sickeningly sweet on me. Replica Afternoon Delight is not your typical vanilla perfume. This smells SO yummy! It’s almost a floral vanilla with a bit of sugary sweetness to it. You can’t spray too much. It’s not overwhelming no matter how much you spritz on your body and clothes. The only downside is the staying power. I can’t smell it after about 3-4 hours. Perfect purse spray to re-up throughout the day! Love this fragrance!

Straight Vanilla

This smells like straight vanilla, a vanilla cupcake, a freshly baked cake, or a bakery. I like warm scents and was looking forward to the sandalwood in this, but it’s just sweet and not complex. That said, if you like really sweet smells and want to smell like a vanilla cupcake, this is for you.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I received this product in exchange for my review, I honestly have fallen in love with so many Maison Margiela scents in the past, and trying “Afternoon Delight” was definitely a treat. It has a very “cozy” and “clean” smell, the vanilla peaks through after a couple hours on the skin and I imagine it being amazing during the summer. I found it to be very long lasting and intense. When I go to the Dominican Republic this summer, I know this scent will be perfect for day time wear and it’s easy to throw in your purse if you want to touch up! Overall Amazing!

This is definitely a "cozy" scent as others have mentioned. It smells like vanilla cookies and to me it also has a vanilla ice cream smell. I see this being great for summer and fall. Like that this is an actual spray and it did last all day.

Only reason it doesn’t get five stars is because it didn’t last super long on my skin. I definitely had to reapply throughout the day.

Doesn't last

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This perfume is just okay. It's the first Replica scent I've owned, and I thought it would be right up my alley since I love vanilla gourmand scents. Unfortunately this is too laconic for me, and on top of that it doesn't even last an hour on my skin. While I'm open to purchasing other Replica scents in the future, I won't repurchase Afternoon Delight.
