Thanks to Influenster, I had the opportunity to try Carolina Herrera Bad Boy Elixir. The cologne comes in a distinctive, large bottle that, while providing a generous volume, can be somewhat cumbersome to pack and travel with. I found the sweet, woody fragrance to be pleasant and subtle. If you're looking to add a sweet and woody scent to your cologne collection, I would recommend giving this a try.

Bad Boy - now with an electric leather flanker!

A long-lasting lavender + leather flanker to the familiar bad boy series. True to the original DNA with this deep undertone to justify its elixir name. The main reason I really enjoy this one is the sweetness (with some iris) has this smoky undertone to it. That smokiness is from the olibanum. This is a night out fragrance - any season of the year. As it dries, it get earthier (if that's up your alley). It's sufficiently different from other mainstream releases that you'll definitely be unique among the crowd. Nice bottle - especially if you own more from this collection. Compared to other elixirs in the market these days, this is actually a fair asking price.

Great everyday cologne

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I must say I loved the original one when it came out, so I was hesitant or different variation of it. Packaging is classic Bad Boy lightning package. Bottle is still the same shape, unique to others and definitely sturdy. Scent is a bit different from original, which confused a bit as it is just an elixir. So I found that initially it is a bit more woody and spicier. You also can smell sage and leather initially but afterwards it tones down and almost disappears and turns to a very close version of original one. As for longevity of smell - we’ll just as classic one there are no complaints. It will last you all day long or night long. I would definitely have this in collection for the price point. I would use it probable more as everyday cologne.

Smooth, sweet and long lasting

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] After wearing this fragrance a handful of times, I am very impressed by the scent and longevity. It opens up with a deep, rich leathery accord which projects strongly for the first 30 minutes or so. It’s quite a wearable and crowd pleasing leather in my opinion. The lavender adds a calming freshness and airiness on top. As it dries down, the scent stays fairly linear but performance is above average for a designer. Lasts about 8 hours on my skin and can still get a faint whiff the next day. Perfect for fall/winter in my opinion.
