[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is a more mature scent from the Valentino Donna line. It’s a plum fragrance mixed with floral and vanilla. The balance is perfect and keeps its youthfulness while introducing classiness as it dries down. I think this would pair nicely with a cherry fragrance layered on top.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I’m actually obsessed with Valentino Born in Roma Purple. It smells so good and I never get tired of it. It’s sweet and cozy but still kinda boujee at the same time. When I put it on, it starts off fruity and soft, then dries down warm and comforting and it lasts forever. This is 100% a compliment perfume like people always ask what I’m wearing. It just makes me feel confident and put together without trying too hard. Honestly one of my favorites and I would repurchase it every time.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Valentino Born In Roma Purple Melancholia is giving a really cozy, modern take on the Born in Roma line. Right from the first spritz you get a warm spicy cardamom kick that instantly feels comforting, then it settles into this creamy coconut-lavender heart that’s unexpectedly smooth and slightly sweet without being cloying. As it dries down, a rich woody-amber base makes the scent feel grounded and versatile — not just a summer fragrance, but something that can work throughout the year.  It’s not overly bold or niche-level, but if you enjoy warm, slightly gourmand blends with a designer polish, this is very wearable and pleasant. It’s approachable and somehow nostalgic without smelling dated — great for evening outings or just when you want a cozy “signature” vibe. Longevity is solid for an EDT, and the projection sits comfortably around you. I’m totally in love with this perfume and thank you so much Influenster and Valentino for giving a chance to test and review this amazing perfume.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Comes in the classic rockstud glass bottle. What an iconic perfume! This might be my favorite Born In Roma scent so far! The new Valentino Donna “Born in Roma” in the scent “Purple Melancholia” is a super warm floral Eau de parfum, featuring notes of vanilla, jasmine and plum! The juicy plum really shines in this perfume and gives total rockstar melancholy vibes. I think that the warmth is best for date night any season. Very sexy, very provocative.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Wow, just WOW! I love this perfume so, so much. The beautiful aromatic florals lasted all day and layered so nicely on my skin. I even had a friend try it who claims the scent lasted long and stayed fragrant all day. The scent is buildable for long nights, but light and fresh to wear as a daily perfume. When in doubt, it’s always great to be reminded of Rome by this beautiful scent 💜

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] absolutely beautiful fragrance. the bottle is heavy and screams luxury, all while displaying its stunning purple color. the fragrance notes start flowery and head towards fruity as it dries down. originally didn’t like it, but once i put it on, i fell in love with the scent. it lasted all day, and it was a very formal fragrance! would wear it to work, dinner, or a casual night out. only negative is price point if i want to repurchase!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Oh my God, I’m obsessed with this perfume! This smells so amazing. It actually might be my new favorite perfume. It’s definitely worth the money, and it’s surprisingly very large! The bottle is so nice as well. I definitely can smell the floral, vanilla plum scent. I just can’t get over how good it smells honestly, and it lasting all day makes it 10000x better.
