Gives fine hair some oomph

I have fine hair that won’t curl or hold volume. I use this when my hair is damp and use a dime size on the ends of my fingers all over. It give my hair just a little bit of grit without being greasy so my hair doesn’t look so flat. If I use too much I have to blow dry hair orherwise it turns crunchy. Still the best product I’ve found for fine hair.

Great for Heatless Style and Hold

Excellent product. Yes if you use too much it leaves your hair a bit crunchy. I wait till it’s fully dried and then brush my hair out, and use a sort of false back comb motion in my hair to restore any lost volume! And it holds all day. Just refresh with some dry shampoo and a little back combing

sticky and waxy feel

I wanted to love this product; I’m a big fan of many of their products, but this Dressing Creme left my fine hair into one gigantic ball of tangled, crunchy, sticky, and wax-like feeling mess that I just wanted to wash out after my hair dried. It just didn’t do anything positive or my hair, other than make it appear thicker. I will look for something else, it’s not for my hair type. Still am a fan of BB, but not this product.

My favorite

I have tried every hair texturizing thing and this is my favorite. People are complaining it is sticky or gritty -- the key for me is putting it in my wet hair, letting my hair dry (or blowdrying) and then combing my hair out. The grit is gone but the texture and fullness remains. My hair is so fine and this adds a lot of fullness.

Heavy and didn't work well on my fine hair

I wouldn't recommend this on fine hair. It didn't seem to give me the texture I wanted but was very heavy, sticky, and unpleasant. That being said, I did notice that my friend who has thicker, straighter hair had very good results with this.

Not too bad. No scent, which I really like. It gives my hair a bit more 'oomph' but nothing major. I'll continue to use but may look for something different next purchase.

I basically hated this product! I have used texturizing creams for years and was trying to find something better but this was not it. I already have a lot of thick hair but need a bit of smoothing and texture. This product felt like the day after you hairsprayed your hair to death. Just grimy and hard and straw-like. UGH!!! Just awful.

Husband approved

My husband cannot function without this stuff. He is NOT a product guy by any means, but this is a mandatory product for him.

I love this stuff! I have straight, sleek asian hair and this gives it texture and makes it so much easier to style. i hope this is never discontinued. Also smells good. at first it seems like a normal hair gel, but it is not sticky at all. I can hardly tell i put product in my hair

I found this super-sticky and way too heavy for my fine hair. The consistency is creamy, but it leaves my hair tacky at first and then stiff like hair gel does. I also found the smell too strong, almost like detergent. Not for me I'm afraid.

has been in my curly hair regimen for years!

This has been a product in my curly hair prep for years. Once I know that it works for my hair, I keep it! I wash my hair with the Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil conditioner only (no shampoo for curly hair), add a touch of Bb HIO, Bb Curl Spray Primer, and then a hefty glob of the (un)dressing creme to super wet hair. I throw it in a microfiber drying wrap and finish getting ready. My curls are vibrant, bouncy, defined, and minimally frizz free. I receive hair cuts maybe one time per year and believe my hair has been well-protected with this regimen. The small size of the creme is great for traveling, but I wish the larger size came in an even larger size. Fantastic product nonetheless!
