Do better Hourglass :/

I’ve loved Hourglass from the beginning but they have had a lot of quality control issues as of late. I got the full brush collection a little over a year ago and they have always shed more than a brush this expensive should, but they’re officially coming apart now. I am very particular about my brushes and I take proper care of them, wash them properly, even hand them upside down to dry. So this is very disappointing from such a costly premium brand. You can get higher quality brushes at a lower price point from several other brands. Please do better Hourglass, I want to love you.

Soft

Hourglass brushes are expensive but worth it. Your makeup will be flawless and the bristles will not irritate your skin because they are so soft which makes blending easy. Top tier & high quality!

I've used this brush daily for a year now and it looks as good as the day I got it. I have a more petite face so the size is perfect. I use the rounded end for cream and liquid brush, I use the tapered end for huda easy bake

Not worth the price

There are honestly better more affordable options out there.

A must have for the pallet

Don’t bother getting the ambient light pallet if you don’t have this brush.

I love the tapered end to use for finishing powders. The size is perfect and the bristles were soft. However, the blush brush tip is a bit too small for me. I think it needs more flare or volume. I find it difficult to apply powder blush evenly.

Less than 6 months after purchasing, brush hairs falling off on my face. Brush came apart in the middle. For such an expensive brush, this shouldn’t be happening.

Amazing brush, no shedding!

I am honestly not sure how other people are treating their brushes, but I live in Canada and bought mine online in April during the rouge sale, and it has held up amazingly well. I have already washed it over 4 times using one of those brush cleaning pads, and even after some very vigorous scrubbing, I have only ever seen maybe one or two loose strands. No chunks falling out, no shedding issues at all. I'm not sure what everyone else is doing but unless you're soaking your brushes in hot water or fully submerging them, I do not think shedding should be a problem. The brush itself is very versatile too. I use the rounded side for bronzer and the tapered side for blush, and it blends everything so seamlessly and naturally. Honestly, if your brush is falling apart, it might just be a bad batch, because mine has been amazing. I definitely recommend it!!

Very disappointed in this brush. Started shedding hair after only a month. Now after 6 months I can barely use the brush without it shedding hair on my face during application.
