I like to wear it on day outings and it also can be written to dinners/social events. Good price for what you get as it's an Eau De Parfum. Very similar vibe to previous 1 million scents so if you like them in the past this will suit you well

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I’ll simply start by saying that I completely agree with other reviewers who say that Million Gold Elixir is what the original Gold flanker should’ve been! The basic note breakdown according to Rabanne includes yellow mandarin, vanilla, and sandalwood. The opening of Gold Elixir is still bright, citrusy, and sweet, but it also has more depth and intrigue which makes it smell much smoother than the other flankers. The mid and base adds a cozy warmth to the fragrance that draws people in and gives it a more sensual smell, instead of the usual “clubbing” vibes. The performance is also really good on most people with a solid 8-10+ hours, and moderate but consistent projection for at least 6-7 hours. This is definitely more for special occasions or date-nights, and will work better in fall and winter, but could still be used on cooler nights in spring and summer. Million Gold Elixir was a very welcome surprise from Rabanne, and although I never recommend paying full price for fragrances, this cologne is definitely worth picking up, and has become one of my favourites from the line.

Better than the EDP but still makes me nauseous.

Million Gold EDP Intense had a note in it that really gave me a headache and was unpleasant after a few minutes. This one, Million Gold Elixir does the warm orange scent profile MUCH better… but it still has that cloying “gives me a headache” part to it. To its credit it is a pretty unique scent. If you like Million Gold EDP, you will love this one. If you aren’t familiar, do not buy this without sampling it first.
