N°.7 Bonding Oil™ – Vlasový olej

The Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Oil has been a game changer in making my hair silky and shiny. Just a little bit goes a long way and just a few drops does the job. I've been applying this at my ends and working my way up either on dry hair or on damp hair after the shower. And it really does make a world of difference in how smooth and shiny my hair is. The packaging is very sleek and looks beautiful on my countertop. The opening allows for you to get the product out drop by drop so that way you can really customize how much you want and make sure not to waste any product or pour out more than you need. It has a very nice scent similar to other Olaplex products I've used with that kind of signature somewhat-citrusy smell. It's the perfect product to go with any other Olaplex products in your repertoire or just to add on as an addition to your existing routine. It definitely has become a staple in my daily hair routine.

Lightweight, nourishing and strengthening

I’ve always been hesitant to use a hair oil, because I was always afraid it would make my hair greasy. The Olaplex No. 7 bonding hair oil has changed my viewpoint on this and I’m so happy I’ve tried it. It is a very light weight oil that I used from mid-length to the tips. I put just 2-3 drops in my palms and then distribute it through my hair. A little goes a long way, and this bottle will last me probably a year, so it’s a worthy investment. It does a great job reducing frizz and my hair is so much softer after an application. It additionally provided a little shine to my otherwise dull hair. I use it on my hair after shampooing, once my hair is dry and styled, as a final step. One of the things that I like the most about it is that it is designed to work together with Olaplex No. 3, which has long been a favorite product of mine and a staple in my routine, to repair the bonds of damaged hair. As I am post-menopausal and I do color my hair, my hair has been shedding like crazy and using products designed to strengthen hair is a must.

Must have bonding oil

Obsessed with this hair oil! I’m 55 & have very frizzy dry hair that is mostly grey but I do a deposit only hair color. Im constantly looking for products that work well with mature hair and this stands out. Beautiful packaging - there doesn’t look like there is a lot of product but you will find that you do not need much! A few drops to coat my wet hair - I add extra to my ends - smells so nice - and then I blow dry ! The results were amazing - my hair was so soft and shiny! I couldn’t even believe how well that worked - no additional hair products were needed! Frizz free and it felt so nice to the touch. On days I do not wash my hair I use a little to quickly retouch and refresh. Highly recommend for anyone with mature dry frizzy hair - it is supposed to help with breakage too but just got this product but will continue using bc I’m impressed

Olaplex Bonding oil

I am loving this Olaplex bonding oil. The packaging is pretty good. It dispenses product nicely. I have very frizzy and dry hair. So far it’s doing wonders for my hair. A little bit goes a long way. It’s very lightweight and easy to use. I use it on both wet and dry hair. I like that it has very subtle light scent, not too overpowering. It doesn’t make my hair greasy or oily. It absorbs pretty quickly and adds nice shine to it. My hair is now much more smoother and shiner with every use. I love how it helps with frizzy hair. It’s also helping repair damaged hair and split ends. I love this oil and I will keep using it. It’s must have product now in my hair care routine. My go-to curly hair frizz control

I have curly hair that is usually ray and frizzy and this oil has become a must for me. Olaplex No. 7 is super lightweight and doesn’t make my hair feel greasy at all. Since i have short hair, I just use couple of drops and my curls instantly look smoother, shinier, and way more manageable. It really helps tame flyaways and makes my hair feel softer, especially on the ends. I also love using it after styling for that extra polished look. Ehhh… could do with or without.

I was excited to try this Olaplex No. 7 Bonding oil because all the hype but was sadly disappointed. It’s not to say it can’t be amazing for some or that with continued long term use there could be some noticeable benefits to the health of your hair. I just personally found it to not do much to my hair. I tried it with wet and dry hair and felt disappointed with both methods. I do love that it’s light weight and doesn’t make my hair look weighed down or greasy. It is marketed towards all hair types and texture which is nice. It’s sulfate and paraben free and is color safe. The oil has a very light citrus smell. The price seems high at first glance but when you only need a couple drops this bottle will last you such a long time! This oil protects your hair from damage and heat. Now for the cons, firstly I didn’t find that it helped my curly hair with frizz at all and I didn’t find the shine to be very noticeable, especially when compared to many other oils that I have used before and secondly, I did not find it to be hydrating at all nor did it offer any softness to my hair.

Great for thin hair

I’m Southeast Asian American with black Type 1a hair. I live in a Mediterranean climate that can get dry. I have thin hair that is receding with female pattern baldness. Because I’m already losing hair, I try to protect what I have left. In addition to using minoxidil, I keep a short to medium length hair so that I don’t have to tie a pony tail (which could cause pulling and traction). So I use products to protect and style my hair. I love the Olaplex Nº.7 Bonding Oil! It has a fresh citrusy scent, which is a nice alternative to the coconut scents you typically see. It’s thick enough so it’s easy to apply but not greasy on your hands or scalp. It’s not too heavy, so it doesn’t make my scalp look too sparse and weighed down with my thinning hair.

The Only Hair Oil That Actually Worked

I absolutely love this product. After using it for a while, it has genuinely helped control my frizzy hair. I’ve tried so many hair oils before and none of them worked for me. This is my first time using Olaplex, and I’m honestly obsessed. I use it after every shower usually on damp hair, but it works just as well on dry hair too. I can visibly see the results.

As a licensed mastercosmetologist of over 34 years , I’m always looking for that wonderful product that will help my hair customers my clientele and of course myself because I have turned 50 - This oil from olaplex is a bonding product that hiss worked well for my hair and it feels very soft after using it. The scent is light and pleasant and not too overwhelming. My curls look good and not weighed down at all and were easy to detangle. I have noticed my hair being significantly less damaged after a few uses, it definitely feels very soft. Overall, this is a good oil for anyone with damaged hair. My favorite part about Ola Plex oil is now it is in the bigger size, I felt like I was always buying it to use in my salon and even on myself and my daughter‘s hair. It’s nice to have the larger size and this product is a necessity in my salon. It actually is light and does it weigh the hair down like so many others. I highly recommend this.

Shiny and soft

Hair oils have always been part of my after shower hair care routine and this one has quickly become a fav! My hair appears shinier and smoother even when air dried. The scent is soft and not overpowering in the slightest so people sensitive to scents should have no problem. My hair is pretty healthy but it is thick and can get frizzy often and this oil keeps my hair smooth until the next wash!

Holy grail for dry hair!

This is my first item that I have ever used from Olaplex, and I am throughly amazed by how well it kept my hair soft, tamed, and moisturized. The oil smells lovely, it isn't overly fragrant nor unnatural in my experience. It has a light consistency that doesn't weigh down my curl pattern, which is a struggle I often face with hair oils. So I was greatly surprised, and I have been using it night and day when I braid/brush my hair. After so many bleaching, and cutting processes I felt like I finally found a good oil that keeps my hair healthy and smooth as it grows out. The hype did not let me down, and I can't wait to continue usage to see how much better the health of my hair will be by the time I finish this bottle. I would absolutely recommend for anyone who has damaged or dry hair like I do, be consistent and ready to see great results.
