I love it!

I have extremely oily face and it has been difficult to find a good powder to help through the day. This has been the best so far. It helps with the oil and it looks soooo natural. I’m actually on my second one

Holy Grail

I have super dry skin and this powder works flawlessly. HG for sure. M

Made me breakout horribly. Do not use this as an everyday foundation. Has a great finish and stays on all day, but do not use if acne prone.

Makes my skin look so blurred and smooth. Only foundation I can wear glasses with and not have it completely mess my make up. I am oily and tend to sweat more than the average person AND I live in a very humid area in the summer. This is one of the few foundations that can outlast that and it keeps me matte the longest. Holy grail for sure, I even use a lighter shade as my concealer when I’m being lazy and it doesn’t crease, looks flawless still. This powder also looks great when setting under eye concealer and foundation. I’d say it’s medium to high medium coverage, I can still see the freckles on my face through it unless I build it up.

Absolutely love this! Powder foundation doesn't usually go well with my dry skin but somehow this works perfectly. Applies easily over moisturizer or primer. I prefer to press it on with flat brush rather than using the applicator that comes with it (rubbing things on my dry skin usually isn't a good idea, dabbing and pressing things in is much better). I also sometimes use it on top of my other foundations if there are still blemishes or irregularities shining through after setting. Just pressing a little bit of this onto those areas akin to a concealer works beautifully. Also pressing a bit onto the T zone helps prevent shininess even more after setting liquid foundation. Has very flexible coverage too so I'm getting a lot of good use out of this depending on what look I'm going for.

Tried and true

This has been my fav foundation for years!! I have been using the duo mat powder that MUFE had before this came out. They are the same product, or very close. I have oily skin, and I swear this is the answer. I use concealer under my eyes and any breakouts, and then I use this as foundation. It covers just as much as a liquid foundation. Setting powder on top, and you have a whole day of no oily cakey mess. Seriously I have people always comment on how good my skin is but little do they know I am always covering a big cyst or scar of a previous cyst! I really don’t understand how none of these “beauty gurus” never hopped on the powder foundation train. I always have issues with liquid foundation creasing on me later in the day. This stuff will make your skin look good up close. All day. End of story. This and the Mac studio powder foundation are the best. I have tried them all (except the Patrick one size powder foundation… still need to try that lol)

By far the best powder foundation in the world if you are thinking about it run now and don’t think about it twice you won’t regret it! Perfect for a quick makeup look!

I like this

Ive been using the MUFE matte velvet powder foundation for a few months now. It feels great on, evens my skin tone well and looks very soft and matte which is the finish I prefer. I really like this foundation for a light and even daily look, I apply using a soft brush. I don't particularly care for the applicator it comes with. My only complaints are that the pan is shallow, and sometimes it breaks up and moves around a little if I sweat a lot or am extra oily that day. I really like the ease of use and wear this foundation offers. R220 is a great shade match for me. I got tired of liquid foundations feeling sticky or heavy like they never really fully dried, this feels like I am not wearing any foundation at all. This may become my HG foundation

The covering power is high, the powder is very good, and it lasts for long periods. However, it may not work as well on dry skin. The only regret for me is that they don't sell a pale shade with a golden tone，like Y205

Wish this worked for me

I had multiple people recommend this foundation to me so I gave it a try and it looked really nice at first but it did cling onto any dry patches super bad and accentuated them. I started get oily a few hours after I applied which is fairly standard for me but then after that it got super bad. It started to break up and show every pore on my face then got the most oily I’ve ever seen my face. By the end of the work day I couldn’t wait to take it off, it just looked so bad on me. I really wanted to like it but this was just such a miss for me. Probably one of the worst foundations I’ve tried. Definitely not for my combination skin.

I’ve used this powder for years. I really like the coverage it provides. I do not use it as a foundation but more for extra coverage. I will continue to purchase.
