I was impressed with the results from this Estée Lauder Matte foundation. I apply it in the morning, primarily under my eyes and t-zone. I do not wear a full face of foundation, but use it regularly under my eyes. I set the foundation with setting powder and I didn’t notice any caking or creasing. It stayed on all day and I liked how well it matched with my skin tone. The formula is very runny and a little gos a long way. To sum up my review I wan't to hit the claims about this foundation that are made as stated on the info card that was included as follows: -36 Hour color true wear? Yes, I would say that you CAN achieve this amount of time but if you use the proper steps/precautions, techniques, and additional products in your application and throughout your day...but I believe it is possible. -Buildable, Breathable, Flexible? YES! I approve this claim and think it's a great way of describing this product simply..extremely comfortable, flexible in how you want to approach the outcome of the look you want to achieve from it, and very good at building it up while still looking nice. -36Hour Oil Control? Though i have "Normal" skin type, I don't have an issue with oily skin even when using face makeup but i can still tell that it seems to definitely live up to this claim. Especially considering i didn't use a powder with it, I still had little to no oil issues so when coupled with a powder I think this would be great for someone looking for a good MATTE Foundation for oily skin. -Locks in Hydration? YES! Similar to my take on the last claim, this would be a great option for anyone on the spectrum of skin types whether oily, or dry..in the latter instance its impressive how it will wear beautifully due to its ability to lock in Hydration but still having that long wearing matte finish. -57 Shades Honorable mention for the SHADE RANGE selection!!! This definitely deserves an honorable mention, because it doesn't matter how wonderful a product is if there isn't a proper match suitable for everyone, in my opinion. Super impressed and appreciated the array of lovley shade ranges and tone selection available for potential patrons to find a perfect fit. Beauty brands, take note! No excuses.

The Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation is the best foundation I have ever used. it blends lightweight comfort with serious matte longevity, excellent oil-control, and buildable coverage. It feels like I'm not wearing any makeup at all when I wear this foundation. I have applied this foundation on the back of my hands and it stayed even after multiple hand washes.
