They changed their old formula to this “clear start booster” and it’s TERRIBLE! I cannot say enough bad things about it. 1) it does not dry - stays sticky 2) does not work - brings pimples to a head but still doesn’t seem to kill bacteria??? The pimples just get worse. 3) does not cause a drying effect - most acne meds have salicylic acid but this is tea tree based 4) smells terrible. Weird medical, tea tree, astringent like. 5) you cannot use the tube while holding it upright because of the stupid weird design with the button. THEN it always gives you a tiny amount or super large glob. 6) does nothing for redness DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY. OTC salicylic acid tx’s work just as good IF NOT BETTER because of the drying aspect/ability to kill bacteria.

Love this! I have hormonal acne so i’m prone to breakouts regularly, whenever i see a pimple forming i put this on before bed and it’s noticeably less inflamed in the morning.

I did not notice anything in my skin I have acne skin so i bought it but no results for me

I have been using this product for about 4 years now everyday and I love it. I don’t worry about breakouts like I used to. I mix it with my moisturizer and apply. I hope they never discontinue this product.

worked well for a while until it didnt!

I was using this product for a year or so with great results. however, recently the product seems to be super oily and has caused an increase in oils on my skin leading to a massive breakout. maybe the serum ingredients changed? It was helping reduce oils and now its caused my skin to be extremely oily.

I love this serum and I use it all year. I have combination skin, prone to breakouts and this helps a lot! I have been using after cleaning my face for over 1 year now and love it!

Finally one that works!

I have used a lot of acne products that only made things worse.This has been the ONLY acne serum to work (without taking months to see results). Skin type: I have combo/dry sensitive skin, and tend to get breakouts during my time of month or times of stress. How I use it: I put a small amount on the areas I often get acne, even when I hav clear skin, while applying a bit more on the areas that show signs of acne oncoming. I let it sit for a couple minutes and follow it up with a lightweight moisturizer. It took me many years to realize dry skin can lead to breakouts, so don’t skip the moisturizer.

This has helped clear up my skin so much. I’ve been putting it on overnight and have noticed a huge difference, even within just a couple of days. The smell is a bit strong, but I find it worth it.

Unfortunately this didn’t do anything for me. At first I mixed it in with my cetaphil moisturizer. Then I tried to up the ante by using it alone. I even tried it as a spot treatment. It mostly sat on the surface even when I rubbed it in. It didn’t add any new pimples but it nothing to the ones I had (for reference my skin is usually completely clear but I had a horrible breakout after getting a bad sunburn and was in bed for 10 days w the horrible flu sweating and not washing my face as usual). I found the Blume acne oil was so much more helpful to help get my skin back on track.
